omega packed breakfast bars


For the bars

1 cup ground linseed
1 cup LSA
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
pinch of salt
1 cup date paste
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 TBSP melted coconut oil

1 cup of boiling water 

For the chocolate drizzle (optional)

2 TBSPs cacao powder
1 TBSP coconut oil
1 TBSP sweetner (honey/maple/agave)

1 tsp hemp seeds


1. Pre-heat the oven to 150C/300F.

2. Roughly combine all the ingredients for the bars in a large bowl and then add the boiling water. Squeeze together the mixture with your hands until well combined. 

3. Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking tray and smooth with a hot wet spoon.

4. Bake for 40mins. Once cooled, cut into bars.

5. Make the chocolate drizzle by melting the coconut oil on a low heat in a small pot. Add the sweetener and cacao powder, drizzle over the bars and sprinkle with hemp seeds.
